Description
Scottish composer Erland Cooper merges music with storytelling and conceptual art, celebrating themes of the natural world, place, people and time throughout his compositions. New experimental album Folded Landscapes uses drastic temperature changes – from sub-zero to hottest on record – to develop pieces for chamber string ensemble, piano, voice, harpsichord, electronics and field recordings. He'll perform the album in full at The Stoller Hall this September.
