Description
The Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) is set to take over the galleries at Manchester Museum for one night only with a unique immersive show that puts live ensembles among the collections.
Happening on Sat 6 Jul, Nature’s Music brings an eclectic soundtrack to some of the museum’s most iconic spaces as RNCM students and guest artists perform well-loved and modern compositions inspired by the natural world.
Visitors can embark on a nocturnal journey through Living Worlds and Nature’s Library, the Fossils and Dinosaurs and South Asia galleries, accompanied by musical interpretations of birdsong, wind and water, land and sky, and compositions inspired by England, Egypt, China, and beyond.
